Delete your MVP account

This page explains how to permanently delete your MVP account, and exactly what that does and doesn't do. There are two routes, depending on whether you can still sign in.

If you still have access to MVP

Delete your account directly in the App:

MVP → Profile → Account → Delete Account

You'll be asked to confirm by typing DELETE before anything happens — this exists specifically so an account is never deleted by an accidental tap. Once confirmed, deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have access to the app

For your security, we can't delete an account just because someone types in an email address — that would let anyone delete somebody else's account. If you can't sign in to use the in-app flow, email us from the email address associated with your MVP account and we will verify and process the deletion for you:

Please use the subject line "Delete my MVP account" and send it from your account's own email address — this is how we confirm the request is genuinely yours before removing any data.

What deletion means

Deleting your MVP account is permanent and cannot be reversed. Based on our actual account-deletion implementation, deleting your account removes:

Your account and sign-in identity (email, authentication record).
Your profile and fitness profile — goal, experience, equipment, schedule, and any limitations you provided.
Your workout plans and full workout history — sessions, exercises and individual logged sets.
Your nutrition profile, food log entries, custom foods, saved meals, disliked foods, meal preferences and saved recipes.
Your recovery check-ins and body-weight entries.
Your subscription/entitlement record in our database.

Some information may need to be retained where we have a legitimate legal or financial obligation to keep it (for example, records Apple or Google hold for a purchase you made through their store are retained by them under their own policies, not by MVP). We do not invent or apply a fixed retention period beyond what's described here and in our Privacy Policy.

This does not cancel your subscription

Deleting your MVP account does not automatically cancel an active Apple or Google subscription — App Store and Play Store subscriptions are managed separately from your MVP account and will otherwise continue to renew. Cancel them directly through the store you subscribed with:

iPhone/iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → MVP → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MVP → Cancel.

We recommend cancelling your subscription before or alongside deleting your account, if you don't intend to keep using MVP Pro.
